Darren Seals and I called out the NPIC, BLM, OBS, Hands Up United… how they and other black faced white owned/controlled nonprofits exploited the murder of Mike Brown during the peak of Ferguson. The NPIC is a beast in itself, it makes hundreds of millions exploiting black pain and suffering, putting black bodies on the front lines battling for their issues then kicking them to the curb when the $$$ runs out, jumping to the next issue then repeating the cycle.<br><br>The solution for us is not to beat our heads against the wall trying dismantle white supremacy in nonprofits, it is to eradicate the choke hold the NPIC has in our community by creating/supporting unapologetic black orgs that specifically exist to address our issues. <br><br>Damn trying to change white folks, change us.
