Far too often people don’t speak out for fear of retaliation or being ostracized. The irony is people who speak out often are retaliated against or ostracized because they are few in number, easy to single out and retaliate against. If more people spoke out, there would be less retaliation… it would be impossible to punish or clapback at the masses. Darren Seals would be alive today if more people spoke out in the aftermath of Ferguson. He was a target because he was one of a handful of singular voices.
