I was the first to call out BLM, Deray and the nonprofits only to be ostracized, criticized and sabotaged by many of the same voices calling Deray out today. Movement wide, not just here. For a long time I was a lone voice, until Darren Seals started speaking on his own experiences. This is how he and I connected, exposing it all and those involved was a common goal which made us targets. People were not ready for the truth in 2014, 2015 or 2016… then Darren was murdered. The mission to expose the truth did not die with him. In 2017 most of us were still in shock, there are stages of grief. By 2018 grief turned to anger and an unwavering unspoken commitment to finish what Darren lost his life fighting to expose. What happened in St. Louis did more than expose Deray, it put various factions of our movement in sync for the first time in a long time. 4 years ago we showed the world what we were capable of when that happens. Now we’re gonna turn that energy on those who coopted our movement, pass off the efforts of others as their own and exploit the deaths, pain and suffering of black people.
